Afer much cleaning and polishing the bike was dropped off at Liverpool docks on Thursday. 2WGlobal duly removed £590 out of my pocket for the pleasure of shipping with them ...OUCH! As I scribe the bike has left the shores of our delightful little island and should now be bumping across the Atlantic on the Atlantic Companion Voyager. It SHOULD be in New York on Tueasday 23rd June. There again so should I.....
Despite my best attempts I still can't find the time to go through my trip list and check all of those last minute details that I really should. I just know I'll forget something important. I have to contact US Customs today and try to arrange a meeting with them so they can fill in the necessary temporary import forms too.....otherwise I won't be going anywhere outside of the docks. In fact I'd better go do that now....
